Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ7 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Marina Tooth Fairy Dental at (415) 409-3368; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iβve come here for many years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I have had all my dental needs met. I recently had a procedure and was able to schedule it and have it done so quickly. Iβm always impressed when I come. And the location and view of the Golden Gate Bridge is another plus!

Such an incredible place!! I was out of town and my temporary crown came off. I called them Saturday morning, new patient, found a time for me on a Saturday, spent the time to ensure I was good and reassured me that everything would be good and I could come back if I needed. This was the best experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend them enough.

Booked a routine cleaning online as a new patient and the visit turned into a frustrating experience. When I arrived, I was told I had to do a full exam with new x-rays because I was new. I let them know I had a full set of x-rays taken just five months ago in December and offered to send the records over from my previous dentist. Most practices are fine with this. This one would not budge and insisted I get new x-rays. It felt less like a clinical decision and more like an insurance billing one. The cleaning itself was fine. On my way out, I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me. Three days went by with nothing, so I had to follow up myself to actually get it. They also asked if I wanted to book another cleaning, and I clearly said no. Four days later, I got an email saying they had scheduled one for me anyway. I understand running a business, but ignoring patient records, ignoring a no, and slow follow-through on basic admin all add up to something that feels more about revenue than care. Would not recommend.

Iβm always amazed with how thorough they are at each appointment. I donβt have dental insurance but they offer a yearly package that includes 2 cleanings, X-rays, etc., and 25% off any other work that is needed. They also take Care Credit (No interest payments). Easy parking and I always feel well cared for. Highly recommend Dr. Benjamin and her team.

Very professional in taking care of a new patient like me. I arrived a little earlier than my appointment time, and they didnβt make me wait at all. It was my first visit, and they were attentiveβexplaining everything carefully and listening to my doubts and concerns. I highly recommend them.
